Human Resources (HR) Generalist

About the Role:

As our HR Generalist, you’ll play a crucial role in building and nurturing our growing team. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. From talent acquisition to employee relations and performance management, you’ll be instrumental in shaping our company culture and supporting our employees’ success.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Onboarding new employees and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
  • Administering employee benefits programs and addressing employee inquiries related to benefits and HR policies.
  • Supporting employee performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Addressing employee relations issues and working to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of training and development programs.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with our company values.
  • Staying up-to-date with HR best practices and relevant employment legislation in India.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, preferably in a startup or technology environment. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and local labor laws in India.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach with a passion for people and culture.
